Each of these pumpkin patches is open for the 2020 season, though opening dates vary. Some have limited hours as well as new coronavirus safety requirements for guests like face masks and social distancing. South Dakota is not included in this list because it did not have a pumpkin patch on Yelp with a star rating.

In Springdale, residents can find Farmland Adventures, the state’s best pumpkin patch, according to Yelp. Once you pick out some pumpkins, make the trek over to Whitaker Point — it’s Arkansas’ most beautiful photo spot.

Denver may be one of the best American towns to visit during autumn, but Broomfield, Colorado, has the state’s best pumpkin patch, according to Yelp. Rock Creek Farms has plenty of pumpkins as well as corn mazes, farms animals and more. But, be sure to check their website before visiting. As of September 2020, Rock Creek Farm is still deciding whether or not to open due to the coronavirus pandemic.
While Hawaii is known for its beautiful swimming and snorkeling beaches, there are plenty of fun things to do during fall as well. This year, visit Waimanalo Country Farms in Waimanalo. With scenic views, farm animals and more, it’s the state’s best pumpkin patch based on Yelp reviews.
Idaho’s best pumpkin patch — Jordan's Pumpkin Patch & Christmas Tree Lot — is located in Meridian. But make sure you don’t arrive without a happy face — in Idaho, it’s against the law to be seen in public without a smile.
If you’re planning a trip to Maine during fall, be sure to visit Wallingford’s fruit house in Auburn, the best pumpkin patch in the state, according to Yelp. And, if you have time during your trip, don’t miss Cadillac Mountain, one of the best sunrise spots in the world.
Not only does Maryland have one of the coolest retro drive-in movie theaters in the country, but it’s also home to a great farm. According to Yelp, Summer’s Farm in Frederick is the state’s best pumpkin patch for family-friendly fall fun.
Just as summer’s go-to activity is visiting your favorite ice cream shop, fall’s biggest event is heading to the pumpkin patch. In Montana, the No. 1 pick is Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch in Kalispell, where kids can feed rabbits, goats, cows and more.
On top of being one of the most pet-friendly places in America, North Carolina also has the best pumpkin patch, and it’s packed with farm animals. According to Yelp, the best pumpkin patch in the state is Chapel Hill’s Spring Haven Farm.
