Get ready for a fun-filled Labor Day weekend on Virginia Beach. Attend the 23rd Annual American Music Festival from Sept. 2-4. It is one of the biggest outdoor music events on the East Coast. Admission is free and children are welcome. When you’re not at the festival, relax on the warm sand and enjoy their beautiful beach.

Oak Street Beach’s End of Summer Labor Day Party is just what you need to end your summer with a bang. Have fun at the party and enjoy a spectacular view of the city skyline. Also participate in weekly contests and bags tournaments every Saturday and Sunday at 1pm.

This beach is 3 miles long and covers 245 acres of sand along the Santa Monica Bay, according to smgov.net. Enjoy a relaxing Labor Day; sunbathe on their soft sand, go shopping, eat delicious foods and participate in a variety of activities. Go surfing, paddleboarding and cycling along the Marvin Braude Beach Trail.

Daytona Beach is an ideal family-friendly vacation destination.
