In the X Games, if you really want to go big, you take on the superpipe.
A superpipe is an oversized halfpipe with walls more than 16 feet high on both sides. The width of the pipe is always wider than the near-vertical walls are tall. In the FIS snowboard world cup, for instance, the recommended superpipe dimensions are 22 feet wide by 64 feet tall. Compare this to the halfpipe at the U.S. Open Snowboard Championships that stands 22 feet high by 65 feet wide.
