Gwin Wins (Another!) World Cup DH Race

Aaron Gwin continues to dominate the UCI World Cup DH circuit

Aaron Gwin's campaign continues as he clinched another convincing win at Mont Sainte Anne, Quebec, last weekend. Catch the full RedBull TV replay below—and skip to the 1:54 mark for the two fastest (and last) runs of the day.

Gwin continues to build a points lead on South African Greg Minaar, but Minaar has performed consistently so far this year. After winning the season opener in his hometown of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, Greg has yet to miss a podium. On the women's side, Rachel Atherton picks up her third victory in four races, but because she missed the first race, she still trails slightly in the overall points standings—with 700 to Emmeline Ragot's 740. Gwin, meanwhile, has 900 points—235 more than Minnaar, and 360 up on Gee Atherton.

“You never feel more fit, you just go faster because the the more fit you get the harder you push,” Gwin says. “So you’re always just as tired. It’s always a good feeling knowing you've finished first, but as long as you leave it all out there, I'm always happy.”
