Fitness Tip of the Day: Unwind Your Mind

Take a few minutes each day to really let your mind relax

Rest days are great. Rest days are needed. Rest days let our bodies recharge and recoup. We all need them and we all take them, but does it ever occur to you that you need to mentally recharge as well? 

We are all so busy that even on our rest days we are still going 90 miles a minute even if we aren’t working out. Your mind hardly ever gets a “break”.

Even if it’s not a full day, take 10-20 minutes each day and put away the phone and computer and just sit in silence. Not only does it give your mind a break but things become clearer and you may find the solution to a problem that has been eluding you! 

Trust me, taking a few minutes to yourself every day will make you feel better mentally and physically and will allow you to really crush your workouts and goals!
