Fitness Tip of the Day: Do the Math

Don't spend money on a workout program that doesn't work for you

It’s been estimated that over 65 percent of all gym memberships aren’t even used. While I’m sure this number fluctuates based on the season, it is still a really high number that indicates the amount of money we are putting towards something we aren’t even using.

Gyms are amazing, they are great locations for people to meet, socialize and get healthy. That being said, if you aren’t utilizing your membership, you need to find an alternative routine that will have you actually working out and getting healthy. This may be outdoor exercise, swimming or at-home fitness. 

Whatever option you choose, find one that you will actually utilize, not only saving you money but helping you become a healthier individual!
