Fitness Tip of the Day: Consider the Color of Your Plate
One of the simplest ways to decrease your total caloric intake may be to simply eat off of red dishware!
Research has indicated that using bright red plates can cause you to eat less. The scientist hypothesized that eating off a red plate may cause you to eat less, because the bright red acts as a stop sign or caution sign; resulting in less overeating.
Whatever the cause is, if you are having trouble with eating too much at meal time and are tired of being “stuffed,” maybe try eating off of a red plate!
