7 Surf Instagrams to Keep Summer Going

Fill your feed with incredible surfing photos

Just because summer’s over doesn’t mean you can’t get your surfing fix. You don’t have to own a 5/4 wetsuit or be lucky enough to live in Hawaii or Tahiti. As long as you have a smartphone, you have access to the best surf photography in the world

Some of the top photogs in the business use Instagram, and we collected a few of their handles here so you can have a fresh supply of stoke even when summer feels a million years away.

Enjoy.

Stuart Gibson / @stugibson

A finalist in this year’s Red Bull Illume photography competition, Tasmanian “camera clicker” Stuart Gibson takes jaw-dropping pics, like this one of James Hollmer Cross riding a terrifying mutant at Shipstern’s Bluff, Tasmania.

Ben Thouard / @benthouard

Tahiti-based photographer Ben Thouard delivers gorgeous shots from his home wave, the one and only Teahupoo.

Chris Burkard / @chrisburkard

A staffer for Surfer Mag, Chris Burkard is one part adventurer, one part photographer. One of his latest surf adventures was to Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula.

Zak Noyle / @zaknoyle

Hawaii-based Zak Noyle is also a staff photog at Surfer. His timelapse of Gabriel Medina doing a backflip was a finalist in this year’s Red Bull Illume competition. Here, surfer Zeke Lau flies into the Oahu sunrise.

Todd Glaser / @toddglaser

Award-winning photog Todd Glaser also shoots for Surfer and is considered one of the best in the biz.

Scott Dickerson / @scottdickerson

We included Alaska-based Scott Dickerson to remind you that it's always colder somewhere
