Fitness Tip of the Day: Start Slow on the Slopes

Make pre-ski fitness a part of your lifestyle

"Before you hit the slopes for the first time this year, make sure your body is ready for it. Preseason conditioning is great, but there is no secret formula. The real key is year-round conditioning both cardiovascular and strength training, and this is more of a lifestyle choice! Make sure your equipment is in good working condition, wax your skis for the new season and remember that early season conditions can be tricky, so be mindful of environmental factors."
