Last year, for the first time in the history of The Active Times, we compiled a ranked list of America’s best gyms.

Considering there are more than 30,000 fitness facilities in the U.S., according to a 2012 survey by the International Health, Racquet, and Sportsclub Association (IHRSA), this was no easy feat.

Yet, we’re setting out to do it again. And because the definition of a “great” gym is different from one exerciser to another, once again, we’re recruiting you, the reader, to help shape the final ranking of our 2015 list.

Whether you like lifting weights in a warehouse or you’re a group fitness class fiend, we want to know where you love to work out most and why.

This year’s survey includes a list of about 60 different gyms; everything from single-location small businesses to big box chains with facilities available all across the country. We took some that were included last year out of the running (although you can write in a vote if your favorite gym isn’t on the list) and added a few new choices, too.

Our final, ranked list, which you can check back for in two weeks, will ultimately be determined by you. So, make sure to vote for your favorite fitness facilities and let us know what makes them so exceptional. And don’t forget to share the survey with your gym buddies on social media so they can spread the word and get your favorite gym to the top of this year’s list!
