- Nancy has been a professional writer for over 20 years, writing about home, garden, and travel topics since 2014.
- One of her favorite childhood memories is riding a camel in Egypt with her father after they visited the Sphinx.
- She is passionate about traveling, whether scuba diving with sharks in Hawaii, riding a cogwheel train to a mountain peak in Switzerland, or planning a road trip to the historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas.
Experience
Nancy fell in love with traveling at an early age when her family journeyed throughout the Middle East for her father's job as a Bible professor. They took several trips to Israel, Egypt, Turkey, and Greece beginning when she was six years old, and she never forgot the excitement of their adventures and how much she enjoyed the hospitality of each culture. After graduating from college, she moved to Vienna, Austria, to participate in volunteer work throughout Eastern Europe. The events that took place during that time, when so many countries began to claim their independence, captured her heart and changed her perspective forever. Her love for travel and exploring extends across the world or down a back road in the United States.
Education
Nancy has a B.A. in English with a technical writing specialization and minors in history and economics from Texas A&M University.
