From dangerous sea creatures to venomous snakes, Earth is full of deadly animals. But possibly some of the most dangerous of them all are spiders.

According to the CDC, spiders are not usually aggressive and most bites occur because a spider is trapped or unintentionally contacted. But if you happen to fall into a situation where you are bitten, you are in for a rude awakening.

Other spiders, such as the Hobo Spider, will only bite you if they feel threated or provoked, especially when it comes to protecting their young. The Six-Eyed Sand Spider is known for ambushing its prey, but one bite from this spider and you may experience blood vessel leakage.

Fun Fact: Spiders don’t have great eye sight. They use the vibrations of their web strands to locate their prey.
