Win a Trip to the Tour de France

Stage 11 at this year's Tour de France could well prove to be a pivotal one to watch, and Mavic is offering a chance to win cycling’s equivalent of ringside seats— a spot in one of Mavic’s ubiquitous yellow neutral support cars. The prize package includes transportation to and from Albertville, France, and lodging and meals the day of the event.
As one of the high mountain days in this year’s race, Stage 11 begins in the Olympic village of Albertville and crests four challenging cols en route to La Toussuire, 140 kilometers away. The highest of these mountain passes is the 6,780-foot Cold de la Croix de Fer.
This is the second such contest put on by Mavic, which earlier this year held a Facebook competition to give away a seat in a yellow car at the 2012 Paris-Roubaix. Cycling fans who live in the U.S. or Europe, and who don’t easily get car sick, can head over to the contest page of Mavic’s web site to enter. Entries are limited to one per person, and winners will be announced June 8th—four days after the contest closes.
