Swimming in cool waters under a shining sun is a simple pleasure. Most people escape the heat by jumping in a pool. This is where a red flag is raised.

They can be a breeding ground for bacteria. People bring all kinds of things with them into the pool.

You should always be able to see the bottom of the pool clearly. If you don’t, you may want to reconsider getting in. Cloudy water is a sure sign that all kinds of germs and dirt that may cause various infections are living in it.

There are many risks you need to be aware of and precautions you must take in order to ensure your safety. The next public pool you dive in will contain pee and maybe even some fecal matter. You may be at risk for E. coli or Recreational Water Illnesses (RWIs).
