As one of the most respected annual races in the country, boarders look forward to Mt. Baker’s Banked Slalom each season. The Washington competition names winners in 13 age categories, this year’s youngest winner was 11, and the oldest was 50. The fastest time was posted at 1:43.35 and earned Harry Kearney the Pro Men’s win. Marie-France Roy won the Pro Women’s title with a time of two minutes and 78 milliseconds. See the complete list of results here.
The Dakine crew made the trip and recently released some great footage of the action. Here is Dakine’s text with the release of the video:
“As we do every year the Dakine crew headed up to Mt. Baker for the Legendary Banked Slalom. This time around we brought our friends from Europe to experience the great event and it turned out to be a great weekend.”
