If you’re trying to figure out how you’ll dive with great white sharks in South Africa, hike the Annapurna Circuit or ride a motorcycle through Argentina’s wine country, a new competition from My Destination might be your answer.
The Biggest, Baddest Bucket List contest will send the winner on an all-expenses-paid, round-the-world journey to six continents in six months. And when you get back, you'll receive a $50,000 check.
While this is undoubtedly a marketing ploy for My Destination, it could also be the next step to crossing quite a few things off your to-do list.
To enter, you must write a 200- to 500-word blog post about your best travel experience that includes three photos and make a three-minute video showing the sights and sounds of your favorite travel destination. The deadline is March 31.
If you win the grand prize, you’ll be required to write blog posts, take photos and make videos during your trip for the My Destination website.
The top three finalists will be chosen by public vote and will be interviewed by the My Desination co-founders: travel blogger Norman the Nomad and Ben Southall (winner of the Tourism Queenland’s Best Job in the World competition).
