With coronavirus restrictions easing across the country, some states have begun to reopen restaurants, hair salons, tattoo shops and more. Travel, on the other hand, has not returned to normal operations just yet. Health officials maintain that regardless of where you are, you should only fly when necessary — but one can still daydream about the places we yearn to travel to post-quarantine.
Methodology
The following list of cities was provided by analytics company SEMrush, which first developed a wide list of U.S. cities and countries around the world. Then, based on Google search volume over the past month, SEMrush data scientists determined the locations that travelers are hoping to escape to on their next trip.
