From Iceland to Japan, California and Peru, jaw-dropping mountains are located all over the world. The photos on this list represent some of the most beautiful mountains, but also some of the deadliest.

Standing at the border between Switzerland and Italy is this incredible mountain. It is one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe, standing at approximately 14,692 ft.
