Christo Landry, the reigning U.S. 10-mile road race champion, tied the U.S. 25 kilometer road record at the USA Championships in Grand Rapids, Mich. on May 10. The 28-year-old Ann Arbor, Mich.-based distance runner clocked 1:14:18 to match the record set by Mo Trafeh at the same USAT&F event in 2013.

Landry beat Shadrack Biwott by 13 seconds to take his second national title of the season. The USA 25K is a sub-race of the invitation-only Fifth Third River Bank Run.
