Everybody wants to lose weight while being as lazy as possible. This is possible even if it takes a bit longer. There is a reason why nutritionists say that the best method to lose weight is 80 percent diet and 20 percent exercise.

In fact, working out too much has the opposite effect. Generally speaking, if you work out too much without fueling your body for it, the body will slow down until you can continue doing your activity.

This is where adaptive thermogenesis, where the body conserves dietary calories to fuel muscles during low intake and high activity at the sacrifice of other healthy bodily functions, comes in. The body thinks a crisis is coming because you’re overworking it and will store its fat (energy) as a defense mechanism. The result is that you won’t be losing weight.

The two most important aspects of losing weight that people should remember are: It’s not about deprivation, it’s about moderation; and think quality, not quantity.

Losing weight is not rocket science.  If it were that simple, everybody would be doing it. Losing weight is hard work but there are several ways you can make it easier.
