I love studying life hacks. With so much information right at our fingertips today, it’s pretty easy to find really useful life hacks that can be a huge help with getting things done faster.I’m highly influenced by the hard work of Tim Ferris or Gary Vanyerchuck with all of the content they put online. They made the mistakes and love to teach people how to prevent what they had to go through.
We would be fools not to use their information. The same can be done with fat loss. What if I told you that there are fat loss hacks out there that could drastically increase your fat burning?

Fat Loss Hack #1: Nut Butter
It’s no secret - I have a sweet tooth. I always have. How do I combat this? Nut Butter. My wife and I always keep a jar of organic, almond and peanut butter around in our pantry. Why?
Whenever I get my craving for sugar I simply take 1 tablespoon and put it on my tongue. The sweetness of the butter satisfies my craving and it plain and simple works. Plus in that one tablespoon, I am getting 7 grams of protein and only 2 grams of sugar.

Fat Loss Hack #2: Pre-Made Hardboiled Eggs
These pre-packaged hard boiled eggs from Almark have made my life a lot easier. You can buy them right at Costco by the dozen and they are super useful.
Look, is boiling eggs really that hard to do? No, it’s not. But the time I save without having to boil them AND not having to clean up the mess from the shells makes it well worth it. More protein, less mess. Win-Win.

Fat Loss Hack #3: Protein Powder
This is a hack coming straight from behind the scenes in fitness. I guarantee you that if you ask a trainer if he/she has done this before you will get 90% of them to say yes.
I put my protein powder on oatmeal, yogurt, pancake flour and of course my shakes!
The flavor is an awesome kick and I’m for sure getting that nice whey protein in my body. Seriously you have to try this one. I trust Advocare when it comes to proteins. The chocolate flavor with this one is on point!
Fat Loss Hack #4: Coconut Oil
I replaced the vegetable oil in my house with coconut oil a long time ago.
Coconut oil has a ton of benefits that we all need to burn fat. The fats are the healthy fats that we want in our body and the coconut oil also helps with reducing your appetite later in the day. Coconut oil can be used in virtually any recipe – both stove top and baking.
Fat Loss Hack #5: Spark
Now that my little man Hudson is growing up and sleeping a little bit more, I am back on the 5:00 AM lifting grind with John Papp. That means I’m waking up at 4:15 AM and getting to my workout at 4:50 AM.
It’s early but having my spark in the morning fixes all of that. I wake up instantly in a great mood with good focus and I’m ready to dominate my workout. Spark is a huge help for me when it comes to getting my fat burning going.
I use spark right when I wake up and also around 2:00 or 3:00 PM. The caffeine makes me less hungry and more focused. This keeps me away from the sugary snacks and other foods that might derail me from my goals.
Fat Loss Hack #6: Water
We all know we should drink water but many of us still fail to do it. Let me say this one more time. YOU NEED TO DRINK WATER TO LOSE FAT! Got it? Cool.
How do I make sure that I get my water in? I do it with trusty Nalgene bottle. I never leave the house without it and it’s always nearby. This reminds me constantly to drink water and I always hit my goal of drinking one gallon. You can skate by without a Nalgene but if you are trying to do it with the little bottles it makes life a lot more difficult. Invest in a nice bottle and keep it nearby so you can constantly be reminded to drink water.
