Fitness Tip of the Day: Spice Up Your Diet
Although there are a number of foods that can help speed up your metabolism, one of my favorites is peppers. Hot peppers contain capsaicin which can really help ramp up your internal body temperature which will help increase the amount of calories you burn!
One of my favorite ways to increase my capsaicin intake is to use hot sauce (watch out for the sodium content though). Adding hot sauce to some dishes can give you a healthy dose of capsaicin, helping to increase your metabolism while oxidizing fat.
Add a little spiciness to your diet and you can help improve your metabolism while helping to flavor your food without a bunch of extra calories!
