Not only is it nice to know the exact weight or the number of repetitions and sets you did from the previous week's workouts, it is also a huge motivational tool to look back and see how far you’ve come!
Whether it's knocking off a minute from your mile time or being able to do 10 more pull-ups, being able to go back and look at your progression can provide that motivational boost to get you out there.
Having a sustainable workout regime (or diet for that matter) is all about applying methods to ensure that you stay motivated to carry on when times get hard! This is so easy to do and seeing your progress on paper will provide you with a consistent reason to keep exercising!
