Fitness Tip of the Day: Make a 45-Minute Commitment
Living an active lifestyle shouldn’t just occur on the weekends. One of the best ways to increase your exercise capacity (especially if you are sedentary) is to simply be active at least 45 minutes a day by walking, jogging, hiking, etc.
For instance, simply walking 45 minutes at a brisk pace can have massive cardiovascular health effects.
This is really important for people who lead a mostly sedentary lifestyle. By starting to be active every day you can start to increase your exercise capacity which can allow you to take on more strenuous exercises in the future.
The trick to losing weight is to instill small habits that you perform daily. This should be one of those daily habits which over the course of weeks and months can add up to a substantial amount of calories being burned and you becoming more active!
