Fitness Tip of the Day: Increase Intensity with AMRAP
Need a quick workout you can do literally anywhere with no equipment? Try an AMRAP (as many reps as possible) workout. Pick six bodyweight exercises and perform them back-to-back with little to no rest between sets for 30 seconds each doing AMRAP. Repeat for a total of 3 sets.
Some bodyweight exercises that are great for improving strength, burning calories and improving cardiovascular health (performed at a high intensity) include squats, lunges, step-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, crunches, jumping jacks, mountain climbers and V-ups. By combining two upper body, two lower body, and two core movements you can get a full body workout in under 15 minutes from the comforts of your own home or literally anywhere!
