The most famous is the daunting “Zion Traverse,” a 48-mile route that climbs 10,000 feet as it crosses the park from southeast to northwest, threading through wooded terrain, around sand traps and along dizzyingly exposed cliffside scrambles that are sure to set your heart racing.
