Get a perfect body with this crazy cardio jump rope Workout

‘Perfect Body'... Hmm that’s a loaded and highly controversial statement. Given all the convoluted controversy in society about what constitutes ‘beautiful’, what we view as ‘healthy’ versus unhealthy, or unattractive—it is all overwhelming and the truth is there is no one ‘perfect body, there is only your ‘Perfect Body’, which I believe is achieved the day you own your body, love it and feel good about it.

Sounds simple right? However, being ‘happy’ with our bodies is one of the biggest personal challenges humans face in our current society. Just look at all the diet plans, workout programs, beauty treatments (surgical and otherwise), gimmicks, and self help books that there are.

If there is one thing to point out here it’s that the root of achieving the ‘perfect body’ is not something you can buy, rather it is all about how you use your body and feel about it. 

In my experience, I have seen thousands of people all over the world, including myself, go through total transformations, both physically and mentally, once they start to live a fit life; one in which we value our bodies for what they can do, and for getting them into the BEST shape for our body type.

Rather than constantly thinking about the 5 to 10 pounds you could ‘stand to lose’, or that ‘flat stomach’ that seems unattainable unless you subsist on lettuce alone, put your energy into working with the body the universe has given you. If you put energy into all the things you don’t like, the product will be that you don’t feel good. 

I have also found the opposite to be true, if you put your energy into making what you have stronger and loving the positives, you will spark positive change in not only your head, but also your body and it will radiate in how you appear to the rest of the world.

That being said, here is a stellar workout to really work that body, make it stronger, use it, test it, challenge it and walk away a happier, healthier YOU! 

Equipment Needed: 

  • Jump rope (optional, you can do it without)
  • Dumbbell (light to medium)
  • Interval timer (like Gym Boss)

What to do: Do 3 rounds of the following...

The Workout:

  • 30 seconds Jump Rope
  • 10 Hand Release Push-ups
  • 30 seconds Jump Rope
  • 10 Plank Dumbbell Pulls
  • 30 seconds Jump Rope
  • 10 Dumbbell Swings
