The Most Incredible Cruise Ship Pools

The Most Incredible Cruise Ship Pools

Some of the best cruise lines continue to amaze their passengers with their incredible pools. Imagine lounging at sea next to an incredible plunge pool or overlooking the gorgeous ocean from a spectacular infinity pool. You can do this onboard.

Different ships offer different options. Experience the thrill of surfing and boogie boarding right on the deck of your cruise ship; relax and pamper yourself in a soothing hot tub; get your workout in by swimming in a large lap pool; enjoy an exclusive adult-only oasis; and take the kids to experience some adrenaline pumping fun at your ship's very own waterpark.

FlowRider, Royal Caribbean

Experience the thrill of surfing and boogie boarding from the deck of your cruise ship. The FlowRider mimics what it is like to surf on the ocean. Royal Caribbean has been adding more FlowRiders to its ships, some of which include Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, and Oasis of the Seas.

Solarium Pools, Celebrity Cruises

Available on all Millennium-class and Celebrity Solstice ships, this peaceful glass-roofed space features two hot tubs, a lap pool and comfortable chairs for lounging after a long day.

Infinity Pool, Regent Seven Seas Cruises

Seven Seas Explorer, one of the most luxurious ships ever built, is home to a gorgeous pool deck which features an infinity-edge plunge pool. Located on Deck 5 you will find this intimate pool, surrounded by lounge chairs and incredible views.

Solarium Pools, Royal Caribbean

The Solarium, an adult's oasis, is home to a stunning adults-only pool. The free and exclusive area has a pool, hot tub, bar, and seating area. "Most Solarium pools are a single wading pool, whereas on the Quantum class ships, the Solarium features a series of cascading lagoons in the center, where guests can swim," royalcaribbeanblog.com says.

Aqua Duck, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy

Those of you looking for some adrenaline pumping fun will want to take full advantage of AquaDuck; home to the famous "water coaster." Ride the coaster up, down and off the side of the ship through the forward funnel – on a thrilling 4-deck drop.

Terrace Pool, Queen Mary 2

There are a total of five swimming pools on board the Queen Mary 2, but none of them compare to the Terrace Pool on Deck 8. It's the perfect pool for deck parties. Surrounding the pool are two hot tubs. Bar service is provided.

Aqua Park, Norwegian Escape

Hop on board the Norwegian Escape and enjoy a cruise and a waterpark all in one. Perfect for all ages, Aqua Park has waterslides, swimming pools, splash parks, and hot tubs. See it for yourself and check out this video.

MSC Seaside –Interactive Aqua Park

In an industry first, MSC Seaside adds to the thrills of traditional waterpark fun by offering guests the chance to participate in "Slideboarding™" – a unique waterslide and interactive video game all-in-one. Guests race down a two-story, 367-foot slide on a sleekly designed raft that includes an embedded game controller with colored buttons. The end goal is to match the color of the flashing strobe lights seen on various sections of the slide with the colored buttons on the raft. The slide uses a smart gaming system that knows who the riders are and tracks their progress and scores over the run down the waterslide. Guests will also enjoy two decks of fun and activities, including an adventure trail and multiple water slides. *MSC Seaside will also have an amazing aft pool on Deck 7 called the "South Beach Pool."
