Bring the magic of Christmas to life in one of the most magical places on earth - Disney. Enjoy holiday parties, special events, incredible light displays and entertainment for the entire family.

Taking the kids to meet Disney Characters is part of the usual Disney experience. But during the holidays they will have the chance to view them in an entirely different light. Our favorite Disney friends will be roaming around special events, like holiday parades.

 

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Join Mickey and his friends for a special celebration with live entertainment, fireworks and a parade. The party is located in Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. It will run through December 22.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Stand alongside with your family and wave to your favorite Disney characters during this spectacular holiday parade. Some of the many characters will include Mickey and Minnie, Olaf, Goofy, Anna and Elsa, and Pool and Tigger.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration

This is one of the newest celebrations in Disney. Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration will provide entertainment for the entire family. Enjoy music, dancing, performances, and surprise visits from your favorite characters like Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, Donald and Pluto.

Christmas Tree Trail, Disney Springs

15 different Disney-decorated trees, a chance to enjoy a light “snowfall,” and gourmet hot chocolate, are just some of the many things you have to look forward to at the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail. The attraction will remain open until Jan. 8, 2017.

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

Get ready for the most spectacular holiday fireworks show you have ever seen. Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! is jam packed with fun festive activities for your entire family to enjoy. Make sure you attend the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Party at Disney’s Hollywood studios. Enjoy delicious desserts and party adventures.

Disney’s Yuletide Fantasy

Head to Walt Disney World; then make your way to Epcot and take an in-depth look at how the park and resorts get dressed up for the holidays on a backstage tour. This three-hour tour will allow you to get an up-close look at the trimming of Main Street, USA, learn about the spectacular holiday atmosphere at a resort hotel, and hear about how the holidays are celebrated around the globe.

Meet Santa Claus at Santa’s Chalet

Head to the Marketplace in Disney Springs for a chance to meet Santa Claus. The kids will enjoy taking magical photos and drinking rich hot chocolate. Santa will be hosting visits until Dec. 24, 2016.

World of Color-Season of Light

Disneyland in Los Angeles knows just how to generate excitement around the holidays. Visit Disney California Adventure Park through Jan. 8, 2017 for an out of this world light show – World of Color-Season of Light. The all-new show transforms water, light, song and story into incredible holiday magic.

Horse Drawn Excursion

Head over fields and through wooded forests on the spectacular Horse Drawn Excursion. Experience a holiday sleigh ride like no other. Your horse-drawn carriage is covered in festive lights, it’s done up like a sleigh and decorated with garlands for the holidays. This is a 25-minute ride that will take you and your loved ones through unspoiled beauty. Reservations are recommended.

Candlelight Processional

Head to Epcot until December 30 for this heartwarming Christmas spectacular. The Candlelight Processional is “a spectacular and wondrous pageantry that unites people from around the globe,” the Walt Disney World website says. Enjoy orchestral music presented by a 50-piece orchestra and sublime choirs. Show times are 5:00pm, 6:45pm and 8:15pm (select nights).
