When it comes to talking about fitness in the New Year, it seems like lots of the chatter is all about joining the gym. But that's not a feasible option for everyone, and it's also not the only available workout space.
In fact, your own home is a perfectly acceptable place for exercising. With a few key pieces of gear you can complete a gym-equivalent workout or better. After all, you won't have to deal with the distraction of other members or even spend time getting to and from the facility.
