Three-time U.S. Olympian and 2006 silver medalist Lindsey Jacobellis won her fourth World Championship in snowboard cross, becoming the first snowboarder in history to ever take home four World Championships in the same event.

She told The Associated Press that she has never won any of the starts. She also said, “Every race I had to fight. It’s incredible how much this sport has evolved, especially on the women’s side. And I am happy to be a part of that history, and I am still with it.”

Nelly Moenne Loccoz of France took silver and Michela Moioli of Italy took bronze. While defending champion Eva Samkova of the Czech Republic took sixth.
