VIDEO: Ski Three Feet of Powder in Stevens Pass

Historic snowfall made for epic days on the slopes

It's one thing to hear about the epic snowfall in Stevens Pass and another to see skiers and snowboarders gleefully making their way down the thick, white slopes.

This amateur video shows the sheer enthusiasm and joy of hitting so much fresh powder. These skiiers searched the backside of the mountain for fresh snow and their efforts paid off. Watch as they sail through untouched terrain, sometimes up to their hips in snow.

Stevens Pass can boast a total snow accumulation of 14 feet—currently the highest level of any ski resort in the United States.
