Video: Greenland is Rough, Real, Remote (and Awesome)

New tourism videos focus on the wild side of the world's biggest island

Greenland's official tourism website has debuted some beautiful short films to entice visitors to that amazing country, and if the one above is any indication of what to expect, I'm ready to go right now! This video shows off a bit of the spectacular kayaking that is possible there, while the others in the "Rough. Real. Remote." series lure you in with images of biking across the ice caps, fly fishing for arctic charr on the Erfalik River, and the culture of tiny villages that maintain a delicate balance between modern technology and ancient traditions. All of the videos are fantastic and well worth a look. If you hadn't considered visiting Greenland in the past, you're likely to now.
