13 Companies With Great Fitness Perks

Stay in shape with amazing gym facilities, organized trips and more

Hybris' new office in Boulder, Colorado, was designed with triathletes in mind.

When you dream of your ideal company, what do you envision? If you’re anything like us, it’s a place that values employee fitness as much as it values hard work. Perhaps this company has a climbing gym next door, on-site personal trainers, hiking trails surrounding the office, or provides three free, healthy meals to its staffers each day.

Well, here’s the good news: You can stop dreaming. These companies already exist and we have the details on their fitness perks. While the Bay Area of California is an obvious hot spot for health-conscious organizations, we found numerous other great companies sprinkled throughout the United States and the rest of the world world.

For instance, one of the most progressive companies we found is located in Cesena, Italy. With views of the ocean, an on-site gym, a mandatory two-hour lunch break and a farm-to-table cafeteria, this business sets a high standard for quality of work life.

Thousands of miles away, a company in the Southern United States (an area known for its high obesity rate and fried foods) refuses to be left in the dust. At its on-site gym, employees train for company excursions ranging from backpacking trips in the Grand Canyon to the Disneyland Half Marathon.

While fancy workout facilities, fitness vacations and vegan-friendly cafeterias are currently the exception to the rule, these companies show that wellness perks—as well as the happier and more productive employees they produce—can be a logical and valued part of corporate culture.
