On Wednesday, Lance Armstrong took to the stage as the keynote speaker for the World Cancer Congress conference in Montreal. And, for the first time since his decision to stop fighting the USADA on doping charges, he made a statement that, one can guess, will be his public stance on his cycling career from here on out.
“My name is Lance Armstrong. I am a cancer survivor. I am a father of five. And yes, I won the Tour de France seven times.”
Translation: “My name is Lance Armstrong. I am a cancer survivor. I am a father of five. And no, I don’t give a damn about the USADA—and you shouldn't either.”
