Tell Your Hurricane Cycling Story, Win Stuff

Share your Sandy cycling story with GearJunkie, and win shiny new fenders
Staff Writer

With Sandy flooding streets and disabling public transit up and down the East Coast, many people are (surprise!) turning to bikes to get around (a trend we're totally in favor of).

Inspired by post-hurricane riders, GearJunkie—a blog and online publication for product reviews and news in the outdoor world—teamed up with ARTCRANK and Planet Bike to highlight these cyclists' tales of two-wheeled triumph. And, for the first 10 participants, they're kicking a free, tongue-in-cheek gift of Planet Bike metal fenders (complete with mini mud flap).

To share your tale, send in a photo of your bike and a short note about how it helped you after the hurricane to the GearJunkie staff. If you're among the first 10, you can pimp your ride with a shiny new set of fenders to keep you dry and rooster-tail free on those wet, flooded streets.
