There are three types of muscles in the human body – cardiac, smooth and skeletal. Cardiac muscle cells are located in the walls of the heart, smooth muscle fibers are located in the walls of hollow visceral organs, except the heart, and skeletal muscle fibers occur in the muscles which are attached to the skeleton, medlineplus.gov explains.

If you want stronger muscles you need to eat the right foods – proteins, veggies, healthy fats. You should lift weights, use the proper technique, perform resistance training exercises, and always make sure that you warm up.
