Supplements have become powerful tools to boost your health and keep you from getting sick. Unfortunately, not all supplements are good for you. In fact, some can be extremely dangerous.

Americans love dietary supplements, and while many help us stay healthy, some out there could be extremely dangerous. And in most cases, the hazardous ones are those advertised the most.

Take the wrong dosage and you’re in for a rude awakening. For instance, we all know vitamin E as a vitamin with antioxidant properties that help our immunity levels. But, exceeding the recommended intake could result in nausea, fatigue, and blurred vision.

The majority of the people in today’s society are stuck on having their ideal body. So when they want to drop a few pounds in a short amount of time, they buy a diet supplement.

We know, and sometimes choose to ignore, the risks that come with consuming weight loss supplements. Some of the most popular, such as Bitter Orange Slimming Capsules, say they are 100% herbal but fail to share warnings. Bitter Orange has been said to have very dangerous health effects, one of them being the possibility of a heart attack. Other weight loss supplements that come with a huge risk are the aptly named Black Widow, Fen-phen, and Ephedrine.

Your overall health plays a role in how a supplement will affect you, but these 15 supplements are dangerous and regardless of who you are or what kind of lifestyle you live, you should steer clear of them.
