Fitness Tip of the Day: Fill Your Freezer

Having frozen veggies on hand will help keep your diet balanced and healthy

We all would probably rather have fresh vegetables than frozen veggies, but let’s face it, sometimes we just can’t make it the grocery store to have plenty of fresh veggies on hand all of the time. 

One good alternative is to stock up on frozen veggies. For one, they don’t spoil (relatively speaking) and they are super convenient to pop in the microwave and steam!

Flash frozen veggies have even been found to retain almost all of their nutrient content, so you don’t have to worry about a substantial nutritional drop-off between fresh and frozen. 

Make sure you keep your freezer stocked with frozen veggies; they are super healthy, super cheap and super convenient!
