Fitness Tip of the Day: Exercise Outside
Working out inside at home or even at the gym can be really difficult when it’s so beautiful outside. Sometimes the thing you need the most is to unwind outside using your backyard as your gym. When exercising outside, the only limit is your imagination!
By employing bodyweight exercises you can really get an effective workout right in your backyard. For instance, the stairs on your deck can be used for dips, elevated and decline push-ups, step-ups, stair jumps, etc. Or you can even run up and down the stairs!
Likewise, a fence or a deck support beam can be used for pull-ups and squats. Lunges, and burpees can be performed anywhere. Utilize what you have when it’s a beautiful day outside!
