Endangered Ski Areas Around the World

With global warming, even snow-making may not be enough

A couple of recent reports have skiers worried.

According to new research published by the Natural Resources Defense Council and the journal Tourism Managementpopular ski areas around the world may lose much of their snow due to climate change. Even worse, snow-making technology may not be able to save winter sports in many of these places due to higher average temperatures and drought.
