Best Snowboards 2013: Rossignol Templar Magtek

A playful, versatile ride

New for 2013, Rossignol’s Templar MagTek pairs rocker and camber with new Magne-Traction 5S edges (subtle Magne Traction—think serrated, more or less), resulting in precision edge control and a playful, energetic ride. Like many boards here, the Templar has a directional-twin shape that’s highly versatile and has appeal for riders of different styles. At $400, it’s one of the least expensive boards in this review.
